Welcome to Playwall!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Playwall application (“App,” “Service,” or “Playwall”), developed and operated by DRNKN, an independent developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Playwall, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the App. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Playwall.

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), and these Terms supplement it.

1. Description of Service

Playwall is a video game backlog tracker for iPhone and iPad that allows you to:

Game titles, covers, and details are provided by IGDB. The App requires no account and no login. Adding games and updating covers needs a network connection; your logged library is available offline.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Playwall. If you are between 13 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use Playwall with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.

2.2 No Account Required

Playwall does not require account creation. The App uses your device’s local storage and syncs your library through Apple’s iCloud service using the Apple ID signed into your device. By using iCloud features, you agree to Apple’s terms and conditions.

3. Free to Use, and Optional Support

3.1 Free Forever

Playwall’s core is free, with no usage limits. You can capture, log, and rate as many games as you want, use the wall, the galaxy, and the year-end receipt, at no cost, always.

3.2 Support Tiers

If you want to support the developer, Playwall offers three optional tiers:

All three unlock the same cosmetic extras, such as wall themes and a gold galaxy. None of them unlock functionality. The games, the logging, the ratings, and every core feature are free regardless of tier. The higher tiers are a larger gift, not a larger app.

Prices are displayed in the App, are set by region, and are shown to you by Apple in your own currency before you confirm. We may change prices in future. A price change never affects a lifetime purchase you have already made, and any change to the subscription price is subject to Apple’s notice and consent rules.

3.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly. To request one, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

3.6 Losing Support Status

If a subscription lapses, the cosmetic extras it unlocked are hidden. Your library is never affected. Every game, session, and rating remains, and core features keep working. Renewing restores the cosmetics.

4. Your Content

4.1 You Own What You Add

“Your Content” means the games, sessions, ratings, and settings you create in the App. You retain full ownership. We claim no licence over it.

Your Content is stored on your device and synced to your own iCloud account. It is never transmitted to us. We cannot read it, cannot copy it, and cannot use it for training, for promotion, or for anything else, because we never receive it. There is no server of ours holding it, which means there is nothing of yours for us to sell, lose, or be compelled to produce.

5.1 Our Property

The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and branding (excluding Your Content and third-party game data), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. The Playwall name, logo, and associated branding are ours.

5.2 Game Data and Cover Art

Game titles, cover images, and details are provided by IGDB and remain the property of IGDB and the respective rights holders. They are shown in the App under IGDB’s terms for the purpose of identifying and displaying the games in your library, and are not ours to license to you.

5.3 Limited Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5.4 Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

7. Feature Expectations and Disclaimers

7.1 Suggestions Are Suggestions

Playwall’s “tonight” suggestion and its rankings are conveniences drawn from your own library. They are not guarantees of anything, and you are free to ignore them.

7.2 Game Data May Be Incomplete

Game titles, covers, and details come from IGDB and may occasionally be missing, outdated, or incorrect. We surface what IGDB provides and cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

7.3 Data Loss

The App saves as you use it and syncs to iCloud, but this is not a substitute for your own device backups. We are not liable for loss of Your Content, whether caused by device failure, iCloud unavailability, accidental deletion, or a defect in the App.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.3 Jurisdictional Variations

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of Playwall from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or Your Content.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may stop using Playwall at any time by deleting the App. Deleting the App removes the local copy; remove the synced copy in your iCloud settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription, so do that in your Apple Account settings.

10.2 By Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons may include violation of these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination your licence to use the App ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, continue to apply. Your library remains yours, on your devices and in your iCloud.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

11.1 Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. Where a change materially affects a paid tier, we will say so clearly and in advance where we reasonably can.

11.2 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes through the App or by other means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be settled quickly by email.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts located in Indonesia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

12.3 Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with Apple’s standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.

13.2 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

13.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of it or of any other provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
